The retreat has been blessed with remarkable leadership that has paved the way for its success over the past 46 years! However, it’s the attendees who truly bring the retreat to life. Sister Susie Doswell dedicated many years as executive director, while Sister Shirley McCain served as President and tirelessly raised funds, among many other contributions. Both women embodied the spirit of outreach, ensuring that every woman and girl felt welcomed to join our annual gathering.

Their commitment included finding ways to support those in need financially, reflecting their deep passion for reaching as many women and girls as possible for Christ's cause. As we honor their invaluable contributions, we are excited to offer financial assistance to those who may need it. Please note that applications must be submitted by April 1, 2025, or until available funds have been exhausted—whichever comes first.

Guidelines
- Must be a registered woman over the age of 18
- Funds will be applied towards lodging and meal costs
- Applicant must complete the form by the due date - Due date is no later than April 1, 2025 or until allocated funds have been assigned whichever comes first.
- Amount of award will be determined by the Assistance Program Committee
- No monies will be given directly to recipients
- One form per household. Once a woman receives an award, she will not be eligible to re-apply for two years
- First preference will be given to those NOT serving in an ACWR capacity (officers, board and committee members)
